A jigsaw? A reciprocating saw? Drum roll… it’s both! Combi devices usually incorporate different functions, but they do not excel at any of them. But according to independent tests, the Worx Axis performs better than professional, specialized saws. At the push of a button (the red one in the picture), it will morph from jigsaw to reciprocating saw and don’t worry, it’s compatible with both kinds of blades. It features a pendulum function and variable speed control so it can adapt to different types of cut and different finishes. As an added safety measure, the dual ignition system requires you to push two different buttons in order to start the device. Despite all of these functions, the WX550 comes in at less than 2kg, so it’s light and comfortable to handle in all sorts of scenarios. This tool is part of the expanding Worx PowerShare, one of the most versatile cordless platforms that covers power tools, lawn and garden tools and everyday life products. PowerShare's "One Battery, Expandable Power" means the same 20V battery can be used in multiple configuration to power up 40V and 80V products.
