We tested 19 robotic lawn mowers. The best for most is the Worx Landroid M 700. Regardless of whether it is an English lawn with clean borders or a hilly ramp with shrubbery and children’s playground, the Landroid mows well on any surface. The agile robot even masters bottlenecks and narrow corridors. In the modular principle, it can be adapted to the conditions using upgrade modules.
For our test, we had a total of 19 robotic lawn mowers with prices between 450 and 2,000 euros compete against each other in a week-long endurance test.
Test winner: Worx Landroid M 700 WR142E
Our recommendation for anyone with a lawn area between 500 and 1,000 square meters is the Worx Landroid M 700 WR142E . Thanks to sufficient ground clearance and wide wheels, it hardly had any problems with bottlenecks, inclines and ramps. Its most important feature is the modular principle: You acquire a basic model that you can equip in terms of battery capacity, sensors and radio module according to your own requirements.
