Unlike conventional combi drills that rely on two sets of toothed gears that vibrate the drilling bit, the Worx Slammer Drill features a proprietary mechanism with a moving mass that delivers substantial impact energy to the bit. This way, the tool performs nearly as fast as a rotary hammer in reinforced concrete for holes up to 10 mm, where conventional combi drills take forever or even fail. For homeowners, the SlammerDrill is the perfect solution to avoid having to purchase a rotary hammer or a corded, high power percussion drill.
